Lucky Charms: Cosmos Collection

ART DIRECTION

In the latest saga of Lucky the Leprechaun, he has traveled to the sprawling cosmos of the galaxy in an attempt to evade the children from getting their hands on his precious charms. To his starstruck surprise, the kids have managed to find Lucky and are intent on stealing a taste of his delicious charms.

Debuting two brand new charms: 'duplicating planets' and 'super-size rockets', we were tasked with crafting the narrative of the brand's latest adventure in space – something that would immerse families into Lucky's world. To support the film spot, we produced a capsule collection of space exploration gear made to equip kids for whatever the galaxy has in store for them.

Although our collection hasn't perfected oxygen insulation, we can guarantee you will be the most stylish being among the stars.

PROCESS_01

Before launching Lucky into the cosmos, we sought out the assistance of a seasoned illustrator and fellow space enthusiast to join us on our mission – the incredible Brian Miller.

After briefing Brian on our lofty ambitions of sending a leprechaun into space and encouraging him to implement his style to enhance the narrative we wanted to tell, he showed us a few ideas of what he had in mind.

Building off his original sketches, we continued to work together to refine the artwork and eventually introduce a color palette that struck the balance of nodding to the brand while also reimagining space as a vibrant and magical frontier.

Finished Piece

In the end, we arrived at a celestial masterpiece that felt true to Brain's work while also elevating the Lucky Charms world and truly being a remarkable piece of artwork. Sprinkled with fun elements and details for kids to discover, Brian perfectly captured our vision of creating an immersive piece of art that could adorn our capsule collection. Something that would embody the spirit of discovery and feel like galactic exploration gear.
