Nia Centre For The Arts

An organization fifteen years in the making, Nia Centre For The Arts is Canada’s first multidisciplinary Black arts facility. As they were preparing to open a brand new space in Toronto's historic Little Jamaica, they wanted to reintroduce themselves to the community in a monumental way that would establish itself as a top-tier art institution and be a beacon for creativity from the Black Diaspora.

Through a year-plus-long collaboration that consisted of developing a strategic and creative platform, producing a brand film, and doing a rebrand of their design system, we were able to give the Nia Centre the necessary tools to take up space and solidify its spot as the dedicated space where Black art lives and culture is created.

This was an incredibly personal achievement and a career highlight, knowing the type of impact this could have on young Black artists, and the possibility to inspire others to shape the world through creativity.
